Grave Markers, Slant Grave

In general, you should expect to budget around $1,200 for a basic slant headstone. Depending on the manufacturer, this may or may not include any engraving.

Pillow grave markers are similar to flat markers, but are 6-8 inches high, usually with a slightly slanted face created from having a higher back edge and shallow slope, and often sit on a base in the cemetery. Pillowed gravestones can be customized with sizes, shapes, and designs.

Bevel Top Markers are slanted with a 2" pitch so that the back of the marker is slightly higher than the front of the marker. This raised headstone style makes it easier to find in the cemetery and helps keep the headstone clean as well.

Grave markers are flat bronze plaques installed on a granite stone base for the purpose of identifying the deceased. Burial headstones are upright granite monuments for the same identification purpose.
