Fimar Marble Mining Inc. was founded in Sivas in 1986 by brothers Mehmet EMMİOĞLU, İbrahim EMMİOĞLU, and Ahmet EMMİOĞLU (deceased). Initially beginning with a workshop system, the adventure evolved into a system of factory operations and quarry operations through subsequent initiatives. The first transition to a factory system was achieved with the establishment of the Sivas Marble Factory. Subsequent quarry operations began in Amasya, and the high-quality products produced there contributed to Fimar's rapid growth in both the Turkish and international markets. Aiming to expand its share of this emerging market, Fimar later established the Amasya Marble Factory, a pioneering company in Amasya and throughout Turkey.

Fimar, which entered the Turkish and international markets as a result of its search for new fields to expand its market range, brought to light the Diana Rosa stone from the Karaman province and the Cremera stone from the Erdemli district of the Mersin province.
