Material Information

Slate is a fine-grained natural metamorphic rock formed by low-grade regional metamorphism of shale. It features distinct foliation, which allows it to be cleaved into thin, flat slabs. It has excellent durability, frost resistance and low water permeability, suitable for outdoor flooring, wall cladding, roof tiles and landscaping. The natural surface is rough and cleft; other finishes include honed, brushed and calibrated. Natural color variations, mineral veins and slight chipping are inherent characteristics of slate.

Shipping Details

Natural stone is a heavy and fragile product. We take strict packaging measures to protect goods during transit. We packed the product well to avoid scratches, chipping and breakage.

All shipments are carefully inspected before delivery. Due to the heavy weight of natural stone, sea freight is the preferred shipping method for bulk orders. Air shipping is available for small sample orders.

Please note that natural stone may have slight color and texture differences, which is normal natural feature. Check the package immediately upon receipt. If any damage occurs in transit, please take photos and contact us within 48 hours. We will handle the problem accordingly.

Payment Details

Accepted payment methods: T/T, PayPal, Credit Card, Alipay, WeChat Pay. 30% deposit in advance, balance before shipment. Buyer covers all bank transfer fees.

Maintenance Informations

Natural cultural stone is a popular decorative wall cladding with unique natural textures. Since it is porous, proper maintenance helps retain its beauty and extend service life.

For daily cleaning, remove dust regularly with a soft brush or microfiber cloth. Blot spills immediately instead of wiping back and forth. Use only pH-neutral stone cleaner. Acidic cleaners, bleach and abrasive powder are forbidden, as they will etch and scratch the stone surface.

Sealing is recommended after installation. Re-seal exterior walls every 1–2 years and indoor walls every 2–4 years. Do not use high-pressure washing for outdoor stone walls. Avoid wax, which will ruin its natural matte finish.

For stubborn stains, use stone-safe cleaning products and test on an inconspicuous area first. Inspect mortar joints periodically and repair cracks promptly. With simple care, natural cultural stone can keep its rustic look for many years.
