MB Stones Quarry is a black marble quarry in Barra de Sao Francisco, Espirito Santo, the heart of Brazil's natural stone industry. The quarry is operated by MB Stones Ltda, a Brazilian company registered since 2005, and produces two exotic black marbles: Nero Cristallo and Black Agatha. Both materials have a deep black and dark grey base with dramatic flowing white and silver waves, which makes them highly sought after for bookmatched slabs, feature walls and luxury interiors.

Production

The quarry works two extraction fronts with two cutting teams. Blocks are cut, squared and moved to the block yard, where they are measured, numbered and loaded onto trucks with our gantry crane for transport to the port. Production is regular, and the yard holds a stock of blocks that buyers can inspect in person or by photo and video.

Nero Cristallo and Black Agatha

Nero Cristallo shows strong, flowing white waves across a deep black background, with movement on every face of the block. Black Agatha is a deep black marble with white and silver veins that flow in waves. Both take a high polish and are ideal for bookmatched slabs, feature walls, kitchen islands, countertops, bathrooms, reception desks and hotel projects.
